Join us for some twilight Reconciliation Week reflections! Shellharbour City Council is facilitating a film screening event designed to share stories and provide a space to reflect.

This Reconciliation Week join us as we show the film In My Own Words (2017). This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, histories and cultures!

Synopsis:

Raw, heartfelt, sometimes painstaking but often funny, In My Own Words follows the journey of adult Aboriginal students and their teachers as they discover the transformative power of reading and writing for the first time in their lives.
