Lyrebirds are among Australia’s most iconic wildlife. Did you know that lyrebirds have an incredible singing ability and can imitate almost any sound? Ever wanted to know about their secret life? Come to Minnamurra Rainforest Centre these school holidays to find out all about these amazing birds.
This is a medium grade walk. Suitable for adults and children 5 years and over.
With an experienced guide by your side, you’ll explore the lyrebird’s natural habitat, venturing 1.6km through rare remnant rainforest at Minnamurra Rainforest Centre. Find out what lyrebirds eat, where they hide, and the vital role they play in the rainforest environment.
To make sure you’re prepared for your adventure, wear enclosed walking shoes and bring a water bottle, snacks, a hat and sunscreen.
Bookings are required. $14 per child 5-14 years. Accompanying parents free. Park entry fee not included.
