Join wildlife photographer, natural history writer, and former Australian Geographic Magazine bird columnist Peter Rowland for an entertaining and informative talk on the secret lives of two of Australia’s most loved bird families: the Fairy-wrens and the Bowerbirds.

Peter Rowland is a Whitley Award-winning author of 15 books on Australian wildlife, including A Photographic Guide to Australian Birds, The Green Guide to Birds of Australia, Bowerbirds and Australia’s Birdwatching Megaspots. Peter worked for the Australian Museum bird, reptile and mammal departments for a period spanning over 20 years, during which time he travelled throughout Australia and New Caledonia researching and photographing fauna & flora, and picking up dead things!
