A breathtaking sunrise spills golden light over Bass Point and the iconic Gravel Loader - a striking remnant of Shellharbour’s industrial heritage. Originally built in the 1930s to ship blue metal gravel from nearby quarries, the jetty played a vital role in the region’s development. Today, the now-disused structure stands as a picturesque relic and has transformed into a popular dive site, teeming with marine life and underwater wonders. 🌅💛
Located beside the serene Shallows Coastal Reserve, a beloved off-leash area, it’s the perfect spot for pet parents to soak up nature, history, and a bit of salt air this extra long weekend. 🌊🐾
